I am wondering how many of you get a chance to visit here. I am more than happy to figure out reactions and I think G train is happy to realize that too. There is a Glorious G train Zamisdat * coming soon. I hope I will be able to share that with you too.
Zamisdat = the word "samizdat" is made out of "sam" (Russian: сам, "self, by oneself") and "izdat" (Russian: издат, shortened издательство, izdatel'stvo, "publishing house"), thus, self published.

I saw the stickers for the first time this week. The G is the first of my 3-line commute and it can set the pace for the day.
ReplyDeleteThe G train series is clever and engaging. Yes!
But I'm always conflicted by the "defacing public property" aspect. I'd rather you "stick" to the subway ads, not walls and subway furniture -- some poor woman or man has to scrape this shit off, you know, and they probably don't give an F about the G (series). Thoughts?
Maybe even switch to taping these little broadsheets up, instead --
